Lust plot

Anette and her three middle-aged friends have been friends since high school. When they learn that one of them is conducting an investigation with the dubious name 'Make Sweden Sexy Again', they become intrigued. The research indicates that sex is the way to good health. They begin to wonder how they can maintain their own sex life despite careers, children, partners and other issues.

Lust season 1

The Swedish 8-part series Lust follows four 40+ girlfriends in their lives with partners, jobs, children and exes. Full of awkward situations and social awkwardness, Lust is frank, sharp and villainous. Without top actors, Lust could finally miss the mark. That's not happening. With creators Sofia Helin (The Bridge, Atlantic Crossing), Julia Dufvenius (Blinded, Honour) and Anja Lundqvist (Honour, Gåsmamman), a star cast is at work. The men come off badly; we meet good-for-nothings, airheads and sexists. Fortunately, that is only the case in Lust. With a good dose of Sex and the City, Workin' Moms and a bit of Love & Anarchy, Lust is a modern and naughty comedy about the search for happiness.
