Kärlek & Anarki plot

Sofie is an ambitious consultant and married mother of two. When she is tasked with restructuring an old publishing house, her extremely orderly life begins to fall apart. She meets the young IT expert Max and begins an unexpected and daring flirtation with him. In the process, they challenge each other to do things that violate established social norms. The harmless games quickly become less harmless as the challenges and the resulting consequences become greater and more uncontrollable.

S2 van Kärlek & Anarki balanceert tussen comedy en donker drama. Setting van dienst is nog steeds de uitgeverij in moeilijke literaire tijden. Sofie (Ida Engvoll) en haar jonge collega Max (Björn Mosten) geven elkaar net als in S1 nog steeds flauwe, kinderlijke opdrachten. 'Zuip je klem' vormt hierin het absolute dieptepunt en getuigt van een behoorlijke ideeënarmoede bij bedenker, schrijver en regisseur Lisa Langseth. In combinatie met hysterische vrouwen en slappe, sukkelige mannen is dit kennelijk wat onder comedy verstaan wordt. Met het overlijden van haar vader komt Sofie in een crisis en kruipt het donkere drama de serie binnen. Helaas wordt het niet veel beter. De daddy-issues van Sofie wekken vooral irritatie. Het acteerwerk is gelukkig uitstekend. Kärlek & Anarki is een dramedy over elitaire, geprivilegieerde en egocentrische kantoorbewoners, die grappig noch ontroerend is.

S2 by Kärlek & Anarki balances between comedy and dark drama. Setting is still serving the publishing house in difficult literary times. Sofie (Ida Engvoll) and her young colleague Max (Björn Mosten) still give each other silly, childish assignments, just like in S1. 'Drink je clamp' is the absolute lowest point in this and bears witness to a considerable lack of ideas on the part of creator, writer and director Lisa Langseth. In combination with hysterical women and weak, wimpy men, this is apparently what is meant by comedy.

With the death of her father, Sofie enters a crisis and the dark drama creeps into the series. Unfortunately it doesn't get much better. Sofie's daddy issues are especially irritating. Fortunately, the acting is excellent. Kärlek & Anarki is a dramedy about elitist, privileged and egocentric office dwellers, which is neither funny nor moving.
