Hellcats plot
Lancer University law student Marti Perkins discovers that her scholarship has been canceled and her well-meaning but irresponsible mother, Wanda, has failed to inform her. She is desperate and doesn't know what to do anymore. Then Marti realizes that the only way she can stay in school is to earn a place with the Hellcats - Lancer's legendary cheerleaders - and receive the accompanying scholarship.
