Glacé plot

On a terrible winter morning in the French Pyrenees, a group of workers find a headless horse body hanging from the edge of a frozen cliff. After visiting someone in prison, Detective Martin Servaz realizes that the horse may be the harbinger of a sinister plan. Shortly afterwards, a body is found in the woods. Detective Martin Servaz embarks on a sickly cat-and-mouse game with a serial killer.

Haha yes I had about the same jeroen indacompu.

Well, provided indeed: there is a beautiful snow setting, with deer, cable car, power station, etc. For the rest, it didn't interest me much early on, not even the 'who and why'. It gets rushed way too quickly for that. One character after another shows up and it flies from one location to another.

No time is ever taken to build up tension (and there is no such thing, with all those short scenes, any more than feeling with the protagonists). Okay, only the ending provides some tension.

Coincidence or not, another French series I've seen also has that flaw of everything running through it very quickly (Une Chance de Trop).
