Emergence plot

Police Chief Jo Evans discovers a young child near the scene of a mysterious accident. The child has no memory of what happened. The police chief decides to take care of her and takes her home. Meanwhile, the investigation drags her into a conspiracy bigger than she could have ever imagined and centered on the child's identity.
