Doom Patrol is a group of DC's most beloved outcast Super Heroes: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Woman, and Crazy Jane, led by the slightly odd scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief). The members of the Doom Patrol have each experienced horrific accidents that gave them superhuman abilities. Traumatized and oppressed, the team finds new purpose by investigating the world's most bizarre phenomena - and to protect Earth from what they encounter. The Doom Patrol is a group of freaks with superpowers who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them.

Wat onevenwichtige maar wel vermakelijke en originele superhelden serie. Maffe scenes worden afgewisseld met serieuze scenes en er is ruimte voor komedie en drama, maar de serie blijft luchtig. DE cast is prima de altijd charismatische Dalton doet de serie goed. Sommige scenes dwarrelen wel erg af van het plot, eigenlijk zijn er ook te veel afleveringen. Seizoen 2 mag korter maar de eigenzinnige draai mag behouden blijven.

What an unbalanced but entertaining and original superhero series. Crazy scenes are interspersed with serious scenes and there is room for comedy and drama, but the series remains light. THE cast is fine the always charismatic Dalton does the series well.

Some scenes do drift off the plot, actually there are too many episodes. Season 2 can be shorter but the quirky twist can be kept.
