Dertigers plot
Pieter, Nora, Tinne, Bart, Alex and Saartje have been six inseparable friends since their student days, when they lived together in a flat. That was fifteen years ago now. In the meantime, as a group and individually, they have overcome many hurdles. Nowadays they are all in their thirties who try to run their social and family life as well as possible, without losing sight of each other. However, when little and big secrets from the past and present surface, the friendship is put under a lot of pressure.

We are only a month away this year, but this is the surprise for me so far. Normally I really dislike anything that has to do with soap operas. Now I don't know if we can count this as a soap opera, but it is somewhat like it. The big plus is simply the recognisability and that does not necessarily apply to people in their thirties, but also to later twenties to which I myself belong. Done with the beautiful school life. Everyone looking for their place in society. They move in together, they have children, there are problems in different relationships,... but always in a realistic way. Often in every group you also have the conciliatory, the responsible, the bon vivant, the quiet, the free-spirited, the athlete,... The only downside: the ordinary working person does not appear in it. We do not meet a dock worker or a mason. Not a problem for me, but I read this in some comments.
The actors also perform a lot better than the soap actors in my opinion. Delicious discoveries. Especially Tom Dingenen, Kristof Goffin and Kim van Oncen I think are excellent acting. I completely finished this series because it was so addictive. On to season 2!
