Detective Will Wagstaffe is a workaholic whose personal life is as troubled and complex as his day job. He is still haunted by the unsolved murder of his parents when he was 16 years old. As he is about to continue the personal hunt for their killers, he is summoned for a disturbingly brutal murder. When it turns out that this isn't the only victim, he finds himself under pressure as he pushes the boundaries in his quest for the truth. What he discovers is far more shocking than he could have ever imagined.
