Coroner plot
The series follows Jenny Cooper, a former emergency physician and now a newly appointed pathologist who investigates suspicious deaths. Jenny suffers from anxiety disorders and has recently been widowed, leaving her to raise her teenage son alone. She is also very driven to find out the truth. Trusting her intuition, Jenny works with Detective Donovan McAvoy, pathologist Dr. Dwayne Allen and his assistant River Baitz and Alison Trent, Jenny's assistant, to solve the most complex murder cases.
