Tita de la Garza and Pedro Múzquiz are two souls deeply in love, but deep-rooted family traditions prevent them from being together. They live in a world of magical realism and rich flavors, as Tita wrestles between the fate imposed on her by her family and her fight for love. Her greatest refuge is the kitchen.
