Pauline is 35 years old and separated from her husband, Olivier Borel. One day, their son sees her kneeling in his father's garden, next to Olivier's lifeless body. He fell from a makeshift scaffolding and Pauline was there. She was also the one who called the emergency services, but did so too late. All suspicions point to her. But what really happened? Pauline, however, remains silent towards the authorities and the legal system.

The French four-part drama Ce Que Pauline Ne Vous Dit Pas tells the story of mother Pauline, played inscrutably by Ophélia Kolb. Pauline is suspected of murdering her husband, from whom she has just divorced. In the better British tradition of a good murder mystery, creators Julien Capron and Antoine Lacomblez have developed a compact drama full of complex family relationships. That Ce Que Pauline Ne Vous Dit Pas is not entirely convincing is mainly due to the shaky scenario surrounding the burden of proof and the opaque French legal system. Ce Que Pauline Ne Vous Dit Pas starts off promising and pretentious, but cannot quite live up to expectations.
