We write the year 1717 in Bristol, England. British Navy Lieutenant Robert Maynard tries to make the shipping lanes safer. In the West Indian waters, however, the mighty Maynard is captured by a much-dreaded pirate operating out of the island of St. Vincent. It's Edward Teach, who has no intention of burying the hatchet. He has just captured a heavily loaded ship with 26 guns, his new flagship. He raises the pirate flag and goes in search of Captain Kidd's legendary treasure. Teach is going to call himself Blackbeard, and with his long black coat, black hat, daggers, pistols and swords he does everything he can to instill as much fear as possible.
