Einzelgänger Sam turns his life upside down when he comes into possession of a gun and decides to break the law. His sister Gina is an ambitious policewoman looking for the missing gun. When a local businessman is found murdered, the search for the weapon intensifies and Gina and Sam's family ties are put under severe strain.
