Avlu plot

Deniz Demir is married to Hakan and has a daughter named Ecem. One evening, Hakan, who has behavioral problems, tries to shoot his wife and daughter with a pistol. In an attempt to defend her and her mother, Ecem accidentally shoots her father. Deniz tries to protect her daughter and takes responsibility for this crime, after which she is sent to jail. There she finds herself in a whole new world where she and her fellow inmates have to give up their freedom and struggle to adapt to the rules and laws that apply there.
