Velikaya Voyna plot

Dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the victory in World War II, this documentary series chronicles the key events and battles on the Eastern Front during the Great Patriotic War. The history of the war is illustrated with computer-generated images, archive recordings and re-enacted scenes. Each episode tells a story about an important phase of the battle against Germany and Japan. For example, details surrounding Operation Barbarossa's conquest campaign are revealed, as well as secrets of Soviet intelligence.
