The Windsors: Inside the Royal Family plot

The British Royal Family has survived wars, divorces, scandals, quarrels and tragedies and, against all odds, has managed to hold its own in the modern world. In order to distance himself from Germany during the First World War, King George V changed his German surname from Saxe-Coburg and Gotha to Windsor. Based on the ancient Windsor Castle, which breathes Britishness and hopefully also soothes the nationalist uproar in the United Kingdom. This is the beginning of the Windsor family line. Archive footage and expert commentary provide a new look at this dynasty.
