Great, almost exhaustively detailed 4-part documentary about the making of Paul Verhoeven's RoboCop. Attention is paid to everything and everyone and the makers have gone to great lengths to interview even the smallest supporting actor. In addition, it is wonderful to see Paul Verhoeven himself and protagonist Peter Weller speak extensively. Beautifully realized and provided with a cool synthwave soundtrack, this is an example for future similar projects.

Huge fan of the '87 film, but a 4-hour documentary about a 100-minute film is a bit too much; even for my taste. It could have been a little more about the global brand “RoboCop” than just exclusively about the Verhoeven film, if you are going to spend 240 minutes on this subject. It's also nice that they actually recruited everyone, and I mean everyone who was involved in the production, for this documentary. But 2 hours/episodes would have been enough.
