Love and Hate Crime plot

This documentary series examines horrific hate crimes that show how dangerous it can be in the United States to be different. Interviews with the police, prosecutors and the perpetrators themselves paint a picture of how the crimes could have taken place. The perpetrators are usually filmed both in prison and in court; thus arises the story of a hate crime, and what can happen to someone who is different. The side of the victim is also highlighted through interviews with the next of kin.
