This mini-series offers the viewer a unique journey in search of the emblematic animal species in the mountains of the South of France. For example, the genet, a small nocturnal mammal with leopard fur and a ringed tail, hides in the folds of the foothills of the Pyrenees. The brown bear is also central: a solitary animal, with a massive silhouette that can reach two meters in height. It roams the densely wooded areas of the Pyrenees before hibernating in caves. Finally, attention is paid to the bearded vulture, a protected species that is Europe's largest and rarest bird of prey. It swirls majestically in the sky above the Pyrenees.
