Extraordinary Rituals plot

In this series Simon Reeve talks about rituals worldwide. In Japan, for example, babies are handed over to sumo wrestlers, who then have to make them cry. In Siena, rival neighborhoods battle for supremacy in a 700-year-old horse race. In Japan, 2000 men perform a chaotic fire ritual. In Malaysia, a devotee joins millions of others to fulfill a heavy promise to God. The highest mass ritual in the world takes place in the Peruvian Andes Mountains, in which men are initiated into their ancient tribe. And in the desert, our desire to belong is answered during the new rituals of 'Burning Man'.
