Chinese Dromen plot

Documentary maker and China expert Ruben Terlou continues his journey through China. He is driven by his unwavering fascination with the Chinese and uses the rapidly changing society as a compass. In fluent Mandarin, he conducts personal conversations with the Chinese he meets along the way. In this way he shows the human and vulnerable side of a people that seems so far away from us. Where in his previous series he followed the Yangtze River and crossed the country from north to south, this time Ruben travels criss-cross through the gigantic country.
