Banged Up Abroad is a British documentary/docudrama television series produced for Channel Five. It airs under the title "Locked Up Abroad" in the United States and other parts of the world on National Geographic. Banged Up Abroad features stories of people who have been arrested while living abroad, usually for smuggling illegal drugs out of a particular country and have received long prison terms as a result.
