New Year's Rev plot
The three members of an amateur band want nothing more than to meet Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tré Cool. They force themselves to deliver a demo to their beloved idols, hoping for some recognition, but instead, they get a rare opportunity: opening for Green Day at their New Year's concert. Or so they think. What they don't know is that the gig is actually a prank one of their brothers is playing on them. Nevertheless, the naively optimistic trio leaves Kansas for California, with big dreams of sharing the stage with their heroes.
