Afflicted plot

Afflicted follows the lives of seven debilitated patients, all diagnosed with unexplained chronic illnesses. In figuring out what's psychosomatic and what isn't, we follow the desperate patients to the offices of doctors who all have the answers. Afflicted explores a growing phenomenon of people being actively allergic to human advancement - the mold in buildings, different electrical wavelengths, chemical sensitivities. By the time cameras come into the picture for every patient, they've all already been diagnosed with a range of ailments.
