Wisting plot

The family Christmas is ruined when William Wisting faces the most challenging case of his career. A shocking discovery has terrified the locals of the small Norwegian town of Larvik: a wanted American serial killer turns out to be living among them. Meanwhile, Line's journalistic investigation into the death of her anonymous neighbor, Viggo, puts her on the straight and narrow of the serial killer. To make matters worse, Wisting is suspended on suspicion of embezzlement of evidence in a previous infamous murder case, leading to a wrongful conviction.

I was a little worried that I would need to see season 1 before getting started on 2, but this is fine to watch without any previous knowledge. I found the police in season 1 occasionally taking stupid actions; this continues in the second season. The story itself is interesting and some attempts are made to lead the viewer astray. Which doesn't really work. It is not really fast and it is not really exciting. Despite that, a good season with an excellent, not too long, playing time.
