Wisting plot

The family Christmas is ruined when William Wisting faces the most challenging case of his career. A shocking discovery has terrified the locals of the small Norwegian town of Larvik: a wanted American serial killer turns out to be living among them. Meanwhile, Line's journalistic investigation into the death of her anonymous neighbor, Viggo, puts her on the straight and narrow of the serial killer. To make matters worse, Wisting is suspended on suspicion of embezzlement of evidence in a previous infamous murder case, leading to a wrongful conviction.

Of the three Wisting seasons, I thought this third season was the best. At least in terms of plot. Improbable in some respects, but that doesn't make it any less important. I still can't get used to the character Wisting. A bit of a weak and gloomy figure. With 4 episodes, totaling about 3 hours, this season, just like season 2, has a good length. It remains fascinating, even with the personal troubles of those involved. We could use a few from Mrs. the FBI agent here in the Netherlands...
