The Coroner plot
Jane Kennedy returns to her native village after a failed relationship with her daughter Beth, where her mother Judith lives with her boyfriend Mick, who owns the pub. Jane takes a job as a coroner and then has to team up with Davey Higgins, the boy who broke her heart and who is now a detective. Together, they must solve various crimes as she investigates unexpected or unexplained deaths within this beautiful English coastal community.
