Sambre plot

In the late 1980s in Northern France, women are sexually abused along the same road by the Sambre river. The attacks always occur early in the morning and in a similar style. The police cannot get a handle on the scale of these attacks or establish a connection between the cases. Meanwhile, the legal system is overwhelmed by the mounting cases.

It's a good series, but I can't call it a top-notch series. There were too many minor errors, and I don't understand that at all from most of the creators.

The judge is supposedly a chain smoker, but you can clearly see he's never smoked before. He immediately blows out the air, and really doesn't know how to hold it. I've seen seven people smoke who have truly never smoked. And then he filmed ten times in empty bags—here's a hot coffee for us—and there's nothing in the bag, not a single drop of smoke.

A child that they film a few times that is supposedly sleeping, but you can clearly see them blinking very hard, and sometimes even opening their eyes a little, etc. etc.

Why so sloppy with details? And what's happening there is still happening. These were ordinary girls, but if they are sex workers, there's still little effort made to arrest the perpetrators. Just look at ID and see many cases in the US; the mistakes made in these kinds of cases are truly appalling...so, it's okay, but not great...
