Prodigal Son plot
Malcolm Bright has a gift. He knows how killers think and how their minds work. Why? In the 1990s his father was one of the worst, and most notorious serial killers called 'The Surgeon'. So it makes sense that Bright is the best criminal psychologist out there; murder is the family business. He'll use his gift to help the NYPD solve crimes and stop killers while dealing with a manipulative mother, annoying sister, a murderous father who still seeks a bond with his prodigal son, and his own ongoing evolving neuroses.
