There are a few minor flaws (car tires squeaking in the snow?).
And a number of things are quite a coincidence (Andri goes to do the laundry with his in-laws for 1 time and then that key falls out of a pocket), or improbable ([spoiler=41164 ]a disabled person at home with a telescope in almost all living rooms sees just about all the things he shouldn't see), or predictably (Asgeir opens the cell door because the prisoner wants to go to the toilet, and it then escapes - of course), or simply too simple (naturally the team coming from Reykjavik will not solve the case).
But still, those are all minor complaints that sink into the entirety of the series:
a strong plot, with a good dose of suspense,
a beautiful location - sometimes something completely different than we are used to, also in the Scandinavian series -, and above all:
two great actors, both individually and in team.
The interactions between the two are very well worked out, and there seems to be a click between the two actors.
Moreover, Andri also creates a very realistic and correct character. No spit, no macho bully out of control, no super smart. An inspector, however, who carries the lessons from his training with him: he is very strong in conversations, does not respond to innuendo, does not allow himself to be provoked for a moment, does not say a word too much.
And also what happens in his private life is very real life: his frustrations and mental pain dealing with his ex (whom he still loves) and her new partner: [/spoiler ]very strong.
Season 2 is coming, I'm looking forward to it.
