Ófærð plot

Shortly after a ferry enters the harbor of the Icelandic village of Seydisfjördur, a mutilated corpse washes ashore. Police inspector Andri suspects that the perpetrator is on board and stubbornly tries to keep all passengers on board. When a heavy snow storm comes ashore that same day, the situation is no longer tenable. No one can enter or leave the village, not even the murderer. All the inhabitants suddenly become suspects, but they are also all in danger.

Ófærð season 1

''Great crime series from Icelandic soil.''

Beautiful setting, good cast, strong acting, exciting, fascinating & at the same time very mysterious. I am a satisfied man, more than. Watch and judge for yourself!

4 solid stars from my side.

Ófærð season 1

Immersive, exciting ten-part Icelandic crime drama, produced and partly directed by Baltasar Kormakur, who has been involved in just about all Icelandic films and series with international allure. The plot is artfully put together and unfolds in an intriguing way. The fun characters and the beautiful bleak winter locations do the rest.
