Odwilz plot
In the Polish city of Szczecin, the body of a young woman is discovered in the icy water on the banks of the Oder. A murder investigation is launched under the leadership of newly widowed detective Katarzyna Zawieja. When it becomes clear that the victim gave birth shortly before her death, Zawieja not only goes in search of the killer, but also the missing newborn.

Reasonable first season with a plot that unfortunately becomes messy. In addition to the basic story that is described in the plot above, there is also the story in the background why Zawieja is a widow. This does not make it any clearer as a whole, with here and there even illogical elements. Furthermore, there are a number of standard scenarios such as Zawieja who is believed by no one and is even thwarted by her boss. The one-man actions are also fully present; not realistic. The cast is good and the whole thing is filmed in a suitable gray setting with a lot of rain and often in the dark. I am curious about season 2.
