Hvide Sande plot

In the Danish tourist town of Hvide Sande, a young German surfer is brutally murdered. A year later, the murder is still unsolved. Undercover cop Helene and Detective Thomas pose as a couple in order to infiltrate the village and track down the culprit.

Hvide Sande (White Sands) is a nice but not very special coastal town in West Denmark. Highlight is the lighthouse, I can remember. This is no different in the drama series White Sands. A murder has been committed! Holy shit, that never happens. So our detective duo goes on duty undercover to get to know all the villagers better. What follows is a dash of drama, a pinch of suspense, a bite of humor, a dash of romance and some sunny images of the wide white beach.

White Sands is light-footed and well-behaved. Just like the labrador who watches with pity in many scenes. Do you like series like Doctor Deen (yes!), The Sandhamn Murders or The Sommerdahl Murders? Then White Sands is for you. I was mainly watching a village chronicle in a slow commercial about Hvide Sande.
