Happy Face plot
Melissa’s father, known as the Happy Face Killer, is locked up in prison. After decades of no contact, he finally finds a way to re-enter his daughter’s life. In a race against time, Melissa must find out if an innocent man will be put to death for a crime her father committed. Meanwhile, Melissa discovers the impact her father had on the families of his victims and must come to terms with her own identity.

A series with a unique way of telling. Contrary to many reviews in which the acting is described as substandard, I actually find the way of acting quite special. In the first episodes I thought I was watching a funny and even simple game. However, in the following episodes I got used to it and the focus shifted more to the story. And don't say that Quaid acts badly: he was a good choice for this series, just the face, although I was already tired of him after his performance in Frequency (2000). My rating is still sufficient, partly because the story is based on true events.
