Family Law plot

Attorney Lynn Holt tries to set up her own law firm after her husband abandoned both her and their joint law practice, taking all their clients with him. She gets help from her friend Danni and from lawyers Rex Weller and Randi King. They mainly focus on complicated matters in family law, such as divorce, custody cases, children's rights and sometimes even murder.
