Dicte plot
Dicte is a Danish drama series which aired on TV2. The series premiered on January 7, 2013. Dicte is a crime journalist who returns from Copenhagen to her Danish hometown of Aarhus after divorcing her teenage daughter. There, Dicte tries to deal with love, friendships and ghosts from the past. Together with her best friends and Detective Wagner, she unwittingly becomes involved in intense criminal cases.

A very enjoyable series to watch. Partly because of the humor in it. Good cast; many familiar faces from other Danish series. In terms of crimes, and suspense, slightly less intense than some other Scandinavian crime series; in Dicte the common thread, the familial drama, plays a slightly larger role. Fortunately, in seasons 1 and 2, the main focus was on the crimes. Season 3 was pretty out of place in that regard. Too much emphasis on private matters, which made Season 3 more likely to be labeled 'drama' rather than 'crime'.

Great third season, slightly more serious than the previous two, but still very entertaining and entertaining. The sympathetic characters remain the main asset. Not that the plot lines are bad, but they are clearly secondary to the vicissitudes surrounding the main characters. Nothing wrong with that.
