Der Bestatter plot

Luc Conrad is a former police detective. Now he is a funeral director whose job is usually to comfort the bereaved. But sometimes the agent in him comes out again. Since he is close to the body, he is often one step ahead of the regular investigators and he also finds two corpses in the closet of the grieving relatives. With his calm, reassuring and sensitive demeanor, he often manages to get more out of family members than the police. As soon as Luc begins to doubt a natural death, his sleuth takes over, much to the dismay of Inspector Anna-Maria Giovanoli.
