Cardinal plot
Based on the book series John Cardinal Mysteries by author Giles Blunt, this six-part series follows Detective John Cardinal on a deadly hunt for a killer in a small town in northern Ontario. Together with detective Lise Delorme, he investigates the murder of a young girl in Algonquin Bay.

Exciting six-part Canadian crime series, well-crafted and acted. The desolate landscape and the harsh climate contribute significantly to the gloomy atmosphere. The plot is well put together and the characters are just captivating enough to make you curious about the next adventures. So watch season two.

I found this season a little less than the last. This is due to some illogical actions. But otherwise very strong. Just give me a season 5.
To me, in all seasons, they should have shown a little more of what happened to the people they arrested. That's why it was interesting to hear in season 4 that the psychiatrist and murderer of Cardinal's wife Catherine committed suicide in his cell.
