It was a little tricky getting back into this series after watching the previous season a while ago. Who was who again? Not difficult with the main characters, but with the many side characters.
The first half of the series is unfortunately a bit on the weak side and doesn't always captivate. Watching Nacho die is painful , but it was pretty inevitable and the effect feels good.
The turnaround comes with the first half of the season episode 7, Plan and Execution. I didn't see Howard's murder coming, but it's so incredibly strong. And anyway, Lalo is one of the most terrifying villains in television, played incredibly strongly by Dalton.
The second half has the same intensity as the last previous seasons, and all the lines come together, both from the main line of this series, as well as the line of Saul as Gene and of Breaking Bad with a number of scenes with Cranston and Paul, the latter seems to have become a bit too old for his role.
A satisfying end to an interesting series. 3.5*.
