Wonderful closing season,
I understand that many people after season 3 are probably somewhat disappointed with this fourth and final season. However, I personally have a lot of appreciation for a season like this. A season that mainly revolves around putting the finishing touches on the t's. Don't rush into anything, but take the time to give a worthy end to a fantastic series.
All storylines are picked up and slowly brought to their conclusion. And as far as I'm concerned, they have found a suitable ending for all characters. Nowhere is an attempt made to score cheaply or to force things that would not actually fit in the series. You see it so unbelievably often.
but not here! Truly a relief to leave a series with a completely satisfied feeling. I mean, we've all seen Game of Thrones, and recent examples from Raised by Wolves and especially Westworld show that it's not always easy to give a satisfying ending/continuation to an otherwise great series. Banshee shows how it's done: A great series from start to finish.

When I started 'Banshee' unsuspectingly, I didn't think I'd be slightly emotional now that it's over. I'm going to miss this very much, because this is an unbelievably good series. I've seen a lot in life, but this was really enjoyable. Every episode clammy hands, powerful characters and no (side) plot is superfluous. I have enjoyed every season and every episode; from the first to the last. Superlatives are not enough to describe this series. Something like this rarely happens. Beautiful.

Since I binged this series, you might experience just a little more that this 4th season is clearly a bit looser from the other 3 seasons, but that is not a disadvantage at all, lol Using it disadvantageously for this series is really a contradiction in terms 
This 4th season has nothing to do with it and is very strong in itself, but of course there are a lot of things and extensions of the previous seasons that extend into this 4th season. Extra load of psychos and you get to know that Proctor's drug trade goes much further and bigger, namely as far as DC, because the senator is the leader above Proctor and link between their drugs and the cartels, who are the real big boss in this trade and power over the Senator and Proctor. As before at S1, an 11/10 across the board, so also before this season.
