Contemporary Nate decides to take his wife Robin and children Delilah and Jared on a road trip. However, during their journey they end up from one disaster after another. If there are problems on the road, this family will find them and end up right in the middle of it.

Intersection of the thriller structure and time jumps of Breaking Bad and True Detective with farcical humor. At times it has a tad dark black comedy, but in general it's a happy feel good around a wonderfully thick-set dysfunctional family. Jason Jones and Natalie Zea play well together as the two bickering spouses with a high awh factor. Their two adolescent children are also cuddly. A bit of an anticlimax in the last two episodes; if the final revelations turn out to be a little less riveting than expected. Still, the final cliffhanger makes up for a lot.
