Sluga Naroda plot

What if an ordinary man of the people became president? A novice, a man of honesty, principles, importance, and, above all, a smart one. This honor and fate awaits history teacher Vasily Goloborodko when, after one of his students delivers a paroxysm paroxysm speech, he is elected president. Suddenly the country has a leader who lives in a simple apartment. Who quietly walks down the street without security and takes the bus. Who receives a moderate salary, and sometimes even has to borrow to make ends meet. Who actually lives like everyone else. How does he tackle the corruption and rotten system of his country?
