I disagree with the first review and don't understand why they didn't substantiate it because it's just a family drama and everything flows together smoothly and there's some mystery and it never gets boring. It's a series to just chill out. Also fun for teenagers and the camera works very well because I don't have a congenital brain injury. Focus is difficult, but I was sucked into it. Of course it messes with some history details that didn't have to be in it. I would have preferred a different history, but it's a nice watch, so a big four from me.
Ps. I notice that more and more series on Netflix use angular camera shots and often very fast without movement and then suddenly again. I fear that in a few years ia will take over a large part
Maybe it's because I'm 52 and I just like a storyline with not too many people that flows nicely and gives more and more openness

The first two episodes are quite funny.
Julianne Moore gets to really indulge herself as an uber bitch with too much money and too much time on her hands.
A small role for Kevin Bacon.
I got a bit of a white lotus vibe, because of the weird twisted characters.
After episode 3 the humor becomes considerably more bland and ridiculous.
I did enjoy myself.
