Reggie Perrin plot

Everything works for Reggie Perrin: a steady job, a lovely wife, a paid-off house and a comfortable life. But he's not happy anyway... The manager at a disposable razor manufacturer is tired of the daily grind, the invariably delayed commuter train, his stupid secretary and the colleagues constantly sawing his chair legs. Just when he wonders whether he should commit suicide or fake his death to disappear from the face of the earth, he gets a new colleague: the beautiful Jasmine. For a moment his colorless existence seems to brighten up, but he soon finds out that such a new crush can also cause problems. How can Reggie really change his life?
