Former hockey professional Matt Shade decides to change his life drastically when he decides to form a rock-solid investigation team with fierce private detective Angie Everett. Their collaboration forces Shade to reflect on who he has become and who he wants to be. Shade and Angie investigate crimes in the world of horse racing, chic restaurants, Toronto's vibrant hip-hop scene, the scandal press and more.
