No Offence plot
The Manchester Metropolitan Police detective team is a tight-knit team led by unconventional Detective Inspector Vivienne Deering. Her two colleagues are the somewhat insecure DS Joy Freers and the smart DC Dinah Kowalska, who missed her promotion due to a fatal mistake. And then there's DC Spike Tanner, a driven cop and a daredevil with a strong moral compass. Spike is happy with his position among all those women and Deering knows she can count on Spike when there are some hard nuts to crack.

Wonderfully gross British drama. Over the top, sure, but oh so entertaining. S3 is exciting and the different storylines complement each other well. The acting is top notch. Can only the English do this? Maybe. The fast pace, the human characters, the drama and the team that works together make this a great series.
