God Friended Me plot

Miles is an outspoken atheist, who receives a friend request on Facebook from an account called 'God'. This account sends Miles suggestions for new friends, people in Miles' hometown of New York City, who need help. Skeptical at first, Miles decides to follow these suggestions to help people. On his first visit, he meets Cara, a struggling writer whom he befriends. Along with Cara and his hacker friend Rakesh, Miles also tries to find out who is behind the 'God' account.
