Chef! plot

Chief! is about the arrogant chef Gareth. Gareth has an obsessive drive for culinary perfection. His guests come from far away to taste his food, which means he is way off his feet. Also, Gareth has amazing verbal talents that he usually uses to bark at and insult his staff.

ik zelf vond dit wel een stuk beter en grappiger dan fawlty towers... Ik vind Lenny Henry echt geweldig in deze serie (tevens het enige waar ik hem van ken) maar ik denk niet dat iemand anders die rol zo goed had kunnen neerzetten. Ik vind serie 1 de beste, dan 3 en dan 2. Snap alleen niet waarom die elk seizoen een andere crew heeft, op Everton en Gustave (ook al wordt die dan in serie 3 door een andere acteur gespeeld) Alleen die Janice... pfff, ik had al 10x de scheidingspapieren aangevraagd... wat een ongelofelijk zeikwijf, maar zo zorgt ze ook wel weer voor leuke woordgrappen met Gareth. Naar mijn mening de beste Britse sitcom samen met the IT crowd, want dat is ook hilarisch.

I personally thought this was a lot better and funnier than fawlty towers... I really love Lenny Henry in this series (also the only thing I know him from) but I don't think anyone else could have played that part so well. I like series 1 the best, then 3 and then 2. Just don't understand why it has a different crew every season, on Everton and Gustave (even though it is played by a different actor in series 3) Only that Janice... phew, I had already applied for the divorce papers 10 times ... what an unbelievable bitch, but she also makes fun puns with Gareth. In my opinion the best British sitcom together with the IT crowd, because that's hilarious too.
