Carol's Second Act plot

After raising her two children and separating from her husband, Carol Kenney decides to quit her job as a teacher to embark on a unique new career. She wants to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor. At age 50, Carol is a medical intern and has to keep her head above water among like-minded people half her age. It is her enthusiasm, perspective and even her age that could make her second career a great success.
