While Nicky and his sister Morgan are looking for a gift for their dying grandmother, Morgan casually steals a necklace from a local shop. However, the shop turns out to be a front for a criminal organization. The owner, Yusuf, discovers the theft and tracks them down. Instead of calling the police, Yusuf blackmails the siblings into working for the organization as penance. Although Nicky and Morgan are completely unsuited to a life of crime, they manage to survive their increasingly dangerous assignments through sheer clumsiness and chance.
